To celebrate National Lobster Day on the 25 September, Burger & Lobster is bringing fresh lobster to as many mouths as possible with a jam-packed schedule of unmissable deals and irresistible dining events in Knightsbridge
National Lobster Day at Harvey Nichols’ Burger & Lobster Knightsbridge
Throughout history, lobster has been the food of common people. However today, only a surprisingly small portion of the UK population has eaten it (0.5 per cent, in fact). If you’re one of the many who has yet to sample its delicious sweetness – and following its “Food for the People” principle – Burger & Lobster is aiming to spearhead a lobster renaissance and democratise the delicacy once again.
Leading up to the main event, expect to see pop-up bikes touring the capital handing out free lobster rolls, ahead of an impressive buy-one-get-one-free offer on the day itself. Burger & Lobster in Knightsbridge will transform into a spectacular shared-dining venue with larger tables furnishing the restaurant for a fun and communal lobster-tasting experience consisting of lobster croquettes, lobster rolls, lobster linguine, lobster salad and, lest we forget, lobster mac and cheese. All await on the Fifth Floor at Harvey Nichols.
If you can’t make it to Burger & Lobster for the big event, or you’re looking to go on a lobster tasting tour, Knightsbridge is home to an abundance of fine-dining hotspots serving some of the best lobster the city has to offer. Head over to The Berkeley Café for a taste of its poached Scottish lobster and pea risotto. Or why not try the lobster kedgeree at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, or the lobster & Hokkaido uni fried rice at The Aubrey (both located in Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park).
