A new set menu at the luxury department store celebrates the season’s rich produce
Need a bit of cheering up this winter? Treat yourself to the new Winter Dining Menu at Harvey Nichols, which has been specially designed to showcase the finest seasonal produce. When we think about what’s in season, food-wise, the focus tends to be on spring and summer ingredients and dishes. But winter offers a wealth of hearty produce, which has inspired the chefs at Harvey Nichols to create a sumptuous three-course feast with starters, mains, sides and desserts to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. New dishes include Jerusalem artichoke and parsnip soup, cured duck breast served with pickled Chantenay carrots and orange purée, and roast salmon with garlic miso soup, greens and orzo. And don’t forget the desserts, which include a dulce de leche cheesecake mousse and – everyone’s favourite – a classic sticky toffee pudding. The set menu has been devised in partnership with French liqueur brand St-Germain, and includes a St-Germain spritz, a seasonal twist on the summery Aperol spritz made from St‑Germain elderflower liqueur and Harvey Nichols prosecco with a splash of soda and a twist of lemon. The menu is being served in Harvey Nichols’ famous Fifth Floor Café from now until the end of March and is a steal at £28 per person including a St-Germain spritz. Available from Monday-Saturday, 12pm-7pm, Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Café; 109-125 Knightsbridge, SW1X 7RJ
