The iconic Knightsbridge department store has welcomed three new foodie ventures for 2026
Tasty new openings at Harvey Nichols
If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to try something new, broadening your culinary horizons is a great place to start. And the good news is that Knightsbridge stalwart Harvey Nichols is delivering not one, not two but three must-try new dining experiences for 2026.
First up is the not-so-secret cult favourite Secret Sandwich Shop, which specialises in a fusion of LA and Japanese-inspired sandos, cocktails and matcha snacks. Having successfully launched in Notting Hill in 2021, the Secret Sandwich Shop has now made its way to Knightsbridge, having opened just before Christmas, with Harvey Nichols creative director Kate Phelan calling it one of ‘London’s most talked about lunch spots’.
The menu largely consists of signature and seasonal “wanpaku” sandwiches – a type of Japanese sando, typically made with pillowy shokupan (milk bread) and packed with layers of colourful fillings that are pure Instagram fodder. It’s safe to say that lunchtime need never be dull again.
Another Japanese–inspired newbie is the eminently chic new KURO Coffee, located in Harvey Nichols’ new 125 space on the Ground Floor. Elegant and modern, KURO is a calm and welcoming respite from bustling Brompton Road where you can grab a cup of world-class coffee (or matcha latte) and fancy pastries. Welcome to your new obsession.
Finally, there’s nothing quite like treating yourself to a glass of fizz after an exhausting shopping spree. So head up to Harvey Nichols’ very own Champagne Bar on the Fifth Floor, which has recently partnered with contemporary French champagne brand PIAFF. Choose from a glass (or bottle) of Brut NV, Rosé NV or Blanc de Blancs alongside some high-end snacks and small plates such as scallops, artichoke fritti and Black Angus beef carpaccio. Or how about a plate of caviar and chips, should the mood take you? Let’s make 2026 the year of indulgence.
