Shot London in Knightsbridge is serving a house special for £265
The most exclusive coffee in the UK is now in Knightsbridge

From the specialty coffee bar that introduced London to Coca-Cola Coffee, Shot London’s recently opened Knightsbridge destination is now serving a rare house special blend with a high-end price tag.
Labelled as the UK’s most expensive cup of coffee, the Japan Typica Natural blend originates from the Japanese island of Okinawa and can be found on the menu for £265.
An uncommon premium version of arabica, typica is known for its sweetness and clean aftertaste. The flavours are due to the unique conditions in which it is grown, thanks to the island’s climate and low altitudes. The delicate growing conditions mean this coffee bean is quite the collector’s item and its appearance in a London coffee shop is almost unheard of – until now.
The extraordinary coffee on offer at Shot London originates from the Nakayama Estate run by the Kishimoto family and is picked, processed and roasted all by hand, a process that contributes to its value. According to the menu, the special blend is described as ‘reflective of the deeply held Japanese value of striving for perfection’.
This prestigious menu item at the Knightsbridge coffee bar is best enjoyed as a v60 drip coffee. Referred to by the baristas as a “total experience”, the coffee’s step-by-step brewing process is also demonstrated to guests tableside.
Other specialty coffees include a green-tipped bourbon arabica from St Helena and Sumatran wild kopi luwak, foraged exclusively by civet cats. For the coffee connoisseur, this specialty coffee bar is a must-visit destination.
