New openings in Knightsbridge
Hit the shops
Knightsbridge is already one of the world’s finest shopping destinations, home to not one but two iconic department stores and countless independent and high-end boutiques. But make way for more, as this year sees two new additions to Brompton Road.
Aurélien is a Dutch luxury fashion brand set to open its first bricks-and-mortar store in the UK in Knightsbridge following pop-ups in Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols. With a “smart luxury” philosophy inspired by a quintessentially Mediterranean ease and refinement, it’s the perfect place to stock up on staple pieces and your summer holiday wardrobe.
And brand-new to Brompton Road is a two-storey, 400sqm store from Swiss fitness brand On. The trendy running shoes and clothing brand was founded by three fitness-fanatic friends in 2010 and has become a massive global success, renowned for cutting-edge integrated technology and in-store fitting equipment. Run, don’t walk to the new store at 29 Brompton Road.
Tasty new openings
There’s always a lot going on in Knightsbridge’s world-class dining scene, and things are already off to a flying start in 2026. Renowned Turkish confectioner Mazlum has just opened its debut UK store on Brompton Road, and fellow Turkish export Yaprak London also has a new home in Knightsbridge, offering traditional mezze, grilled meats and fish.
Joining SW1’s growing range of premium coffee shops is Ten11, marking the first international outpost of the popular UAE chain. Located in a prestigious position across the road from Hyde Park Corner, Ten11 is famed for its lavish signature breakfasts, including the suitably regal Croissant Crown, a croissant-shaped ring layered with egg, smashed avocado, whipped mascarpone and chive cream.
Another debut opening straight from the UAE is Dubai restaurant GOAT Burger. As the name suggests, this isn’t your average takeaway burger joint; every dish is made from high-end Japanese Wagyu beef and, alongside the signature cheeseburger are specialties such as truffle and teriyaki, as well Nashville chicken sandos.
A scent-sational pop-up
Fragrance fanatics will have already sniffed out the exciting new pop-up at 125, Harvey Nichols from Vyrao, a cult wellbeing brand that claims to be the world’s first to ‘fuse energetic healing with master perfumery’. Vyrao has launched its travelling immersive pop-up at Harvey Nichols (until 1 April 2026), building on the success of its temporary space in New York’s SoHo.
The stylish new space, created by revered architectural practice OMA’s design studio AMO, brings Vyrao’s world into the physical realm through an immersive shop that evokes energy, emotion and nature via colour, texture, light, touch and, of course, scent.
