The Lanesborough Grill introduces a decadent new Signature Sunday Lunch menu.

Is there anything more quintessentially British than Sunday lunch? And can you think of a more exquisite and traditional setting than The Lanesborough hotel? The grande dame of British hospitality has just launched a new Sunday lunch offering at The Lanesborough Grill, devised by executive chef Shay Cooper, who has overseen the culinary direction of the entire hotel. The acclaimed chef earned his culinary stripes at The Bingham in Richmond, where he won his first Michelin star, The Goring Hotel and Julie’s in Notting Hill.   The Lanesborough Grill is the recently launched flagship modern British restaurant at the five-star hotel, and the new Sunday lunch menu celebrates great British produce and provenance. Keeping tradition in mind, the menu is centred around quality British beef, as well as Cooper’s favourite British dishes that showcase the finest producers from all over the UK. Signature Sunday lunch dishes include a Dorset crab starter with buckwheat pancake, Isle of Wight tomatoes and lovage emulsion, and a traditional beef Wellington with all the trimmings.   After enjoying a three-course feast, guests can retreat to the charming Withdrawing Room or cosy Library Bar for post-lunch drinks or even a cigar in The Garden Room with its heated outdoor terrace. Welcome to your new Sunday obsession (sorry, Nan). £70 per person for a three-course meal.
