Welcome to the Prada Caffé: London’s most stylish diners are clamouring for a spot at this elegant new pop-up
Next in fashion: Prada Caffè launches at Harrods
Hot on the heels of its recent high-profile collaborations with fashion giants Dior and Louis Vuitton, Harrods has now introduced a brand-new takeover with Prada.
The Prada Caffè at Harrods is a visually captivating all-day dining spot featuring exquisite attention to detail in an interior design scheme inspired – and orchestrated by – the Italian luxury house. The classic black-and-white chequered floor directly references Prada’s flagship boutique, built in 1913, in Milan’s glamorous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Meanwhile, the plush sofas and armchairs feature the brand’s iconic mint-green colour, which is also reflected in the eminently Instagrammable pastries. Even the eclectic tableware has been carefully selected by Prada and includes delicate Japanese porcelain and celadon pottery.
But what about the food? Prada Caffè is an all-day dining model, covering breakfast (think sweet pastries, eggs Florentine, avocado toast etc) to evening cocktails (including spritz, naturally) and an impressive all-Italian wine list. There are plenty of snacks, salads and sweet and savoury pastries to dine on throughout the day, as well as heartier meals such as risotto, fresh fish, beef fillet and cannelloni. Come summer, the Caffé will introduce an outdoor stall selling a range of ice creams, cementing Prada Caffè as London’s most fashionable dining spot. Catch it while you can.
Prada Caffè is open at Harrods until 7 January 2024, from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Saturday and from 12pm to 6pm on Sunday, with an entrance on Hans Road. Book your spot here. Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Road, SW1X 7XL
