The Mandarin Cake Shop has opened its doors in time for Christmas
The Hong Kong flagship of the five-star hotel group Mandarin Oriental has been serving homemade cakes and pâtisseries to patrons for over 45 years. Now, the Knightsbridge branch of the luxury hotel has launched its own version through The Mandarin Cake Shop, meaning visitors can take a slice of this luxury haven home with them for the first time.
Located within The Rosebery tea rooms, The Mandarin Cake Shop is available for eat-in and takeaway treats, serving a decadent range of homemade cakes, pastries, chocolates and even baklava, many with Asian-inspired flavours. Signature sweet treats include the Vanilla & Cherry Cheesecake and Jivara & Mandarin Fan Cake, while the festive season has welcomed a new collection of beautifully themed cakes and pastries created by the talented pastry team behind The Rosebery’s afternoon tea. These include a delicate Caramel & Orange Parfait and an artfully-designed Vanilla & Chestnuts Christmas Tree. The exquisite Christmas Praline & Dark Chocolate Acorn, meanwhile, is a real showstopper and will look divine taking centre stage on your dining table come 25 December.
