It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Harrods
Christmas World opens in Harrods for 2025
Harrods has officially unveiled its 2025 Christmas World, transforming part of the lower ground floor into a dazzling winter wonderland in preparation for the big day. Think garland-draped archways, colour-coordinated trees and walls lined with festive ornaments.
A highlight of the opening of the famed Christmas shop is the beloved Harrods Christmas bear, a tradition dating back to 1986. This year’s star is Alfie, dressed in a cosy cable-knit jumper with a matching bobble hat and scarf. Commemorative 2025 embroidery on his paw marks him as a limited-edition collectible and generational keepsake.
The shop features everything from glass and velvet baubles to London-themed felt decorations and traditional wooden nutcrackers. For those dreaming of the perfect tree, the showstopping 8ft Balsam Hill Nordmann fir, adorned with twinkly coloured lights, offers a hyper-realistic centrepiece (yours in-store for £1,499).
Harrods, which recently announced the launch of its Helideck event space and its multimillion-pound investment in its Fine Jewellery and Watches departments, is the ultimate hub for festive cheer. The store’s Christmas-light reveal is a standout event in the Christmas season calendar. While this year’s theme is being kept under wraps (and bows), last year’s collaboration with Loro Piana saw the facade decorated with moving cogs and a 17m tree festooned with fabric and exclusive ornaments.
You can find the Harrods Christmas World on the lower ground floor of Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Road, London SW1X 7XL
