AllSaints goes back to its roots under creative director Aaron Esh
Founded in 1994 and rooted in Spitalfields, East London, AllSaints has long occupied a distinctive place in British fashion. If you’ve walked past the store on Brompton Road recently, you’ll have noticed a lot has changed. The brand appointed Aaron Esh as creative director in 2025, and his first collection for Autumn/Winter 2026 arrived in early September.
The collection has been reconsidered garment by garment, with each piece designed by Esh and developed with stylist Katy England, best known as Alexander McQueen’s longtime collaborator. They started with the basics: the cut of a white T-shirt, the fit of a pair of jeans, the construction of a leather jacket. Each piece was taken apart and rebuilt with new attention paid to silhouette, proportion, trims, lining and finishing.
Leather is still at the heart of it, but it has had a serious upgrade. Think jewel-toned suedes, cropped silhouettes and new weights and finishes that go beyond the familiar distressed black.
Photographer Alasdair McLellan shot the campaign, pairing models Kiki Willems and Lux Gillespie with a street-cast group of real Londoners: artists, students, a carpenter, a chef. “I’m interested in character. Ultimately, I want people to see someone walking down the street and say ‘they’re very AllSaints’. That’s what real fashion is – creating an identity,” Esh said.
Free from all AllSaints stores globally during the campaign period, The Ram is a limited-edition zine featuring fashion editorials, essays and profiles rooted in the brand’s Spitalfields history.
The AllSaints AW26 collection is available now at 69 Brompton Road, SW3 1DP and at allsaints.com.
